Supporting our Brothers in Need

On Monday, December 19, 2011, two firefighters from FDNY Rescue 2 suffered severe burns during a brownstone structure fire and were in critical condition upon hospital admittance. Both men face long recoveries. One is still hospitalized in critical condition and the other is now recovering at home under the care of a burn center outpatient program.

MN8-Foxfire, FireCritic.com and IronFiremen.com have teamed together to help these heroes and their families during this time of need.

From January 23-30 fifty percent of all MN8-Foxfire product sales will be donated towards the Rescue 2 Mayday fund. In addition, you can help us in supporting this initiative by making a tax-deductible donation which will go directly towards the FDNY Rescue 2 Mayday fund to help these firefighters and their families. We will personally present a check to Rescue 2 during the first week of February. Thank you for your help in supporting our brothers in need!

As a young kid, I dreamed about one day becoming a firefighter.  I still get excited everytime I respond to the station and ride the engine or ladder to help our local citizens.  As much as I feel like I'm living my childhood dream on every run, the greatest pride I have is knowing...Read More

Our Products in Action

"The Foxfire illuminating glow paint is incredible. We've applied it to axes, hooks, halogen bars and have even tested it on a fire hydrant. Foxfire has the potential to change the future of firefighting industry as far as accountability and safety of our crews and keeping tabs on our tools in zero light conditions."

Illuminating Fire Safety

Light Dark Crawl resized 600A firefighter’s job is often dangerous, especially in dark or low light environments. And when your employees work in dark environments or a power failure occurs, safety is always a primary concern. MN8® Products, a leading developer of advanced illumination products, has perfected the concepts of safety and innovation with products that extend beyond the ordinary. Our unique photoluminescent products don’t require batteries or power to brightly light up the surrounding environment. In the dark, the glow from our products keeps people safe.

Our firefighter safety products, developed and marketed under our Foxfire™ brand name, are designed to increase the effectiveness and improve the safety of firefighters.

Three of the top risks faced by firefighters:

  • Disorientation
  • Visibility
  • Accountability

Foxfire® assists firefighters in facing these risks by improving positional orientation, making both tools and personnel easy to locate and illuminating search areas.

What makes MN8® and Foxfire® products completely unique is the capability to serve as its own light emitter. Other high visibility products and reflective striping on turnout gear on the market do not work in a dark environment unless an active light source is present. Whether you need to regularly illuminate an area or be prepared in the case of an emergency, MN8® Products offers a growing suite of branded products designed to increase your workers effectiveness and improve their safety.

Through our rare and advanced photoluminescent technology, we have a continued vision of improving the lives of workers in fields such as firefighting, industrial safety, mining, construction and more.
